And you may ask yourself this question “as a fashion designer why I need a website?” And come to think of it, would you like to make the world know what you do and how you do it and people finding you on the web without you go finding them then creating a blog is the best option because it’s your space on the web and you have no limitations
Below are some of the reasons I think would be necessary for a fashion designer to own a blog
1. It saves you the stress of advertising
As a fashion designer, you having a blog save you the stress of advertising, because here you are you own advertiser, you don’t need to go around looking for people that is going to do that for you, you have the opportunity to post your designs and your customers can see them and you can know their reactions by the comments they make and it think that’s great.
2. It makes you close to your customers
Update your readers and let them into the design process .tell them about what’s trending and about your latest designs and when you are going to launch your next collection, always try as much as possible to reply them whenever they ask questions, cause people always like to give feedback and talk with designers, all this activity get people to spend time on your blog thus keeping your site active and thereby making you close to them and increasing you possibility for sales, i think the whole blogging scene is fun as long as you keep up with it, you can even find a lover from your readers lol, anything can happen.
3. It gives your fashion business a new look
You having a blog is additional packaging because in the modern world, to make sales you have to have a great brand and package cause that’s what selling your product is based on, imagine a customer asking for some photos of your designs and you telling him/her to check your web space or blog it’s going to surely add class to your business letting them know you have taking your product to a new dimension
4. It expand your knowledge on fashion designing
Blogging is not just about making up post but making up quality post and to do that you have to do research thus expanding your knowledge on that topic we all know that “nobody is an island of knowledge” so in order to get quality post you have to do research, read books , talk with people etc.
